Membership

Q. Do spouses or partners have to be a member to attend?
A. No. Spouses or partners do not need to be a member to attend if booked by a member. Their name needs to be listed on the booking form, so that a Id badge can be issued on arrival.
Q. Can i bring a friend?
A. You may bring upto 5 friends as a member of the festival and you will need to book them in under your order form.
Q. Do Day Visitors need to be a member?
A. No. We are now open to non members but they will pay a higher price for entrance and merchandise.
Q.  Do all Day Visitors need to pay?
A.  Yes.  All day visitors will need to book and pay for a Day Pass in the Booking section, whether they are a member or accompanied by a member.

Competition

Q. Do I need to be a member to enter the competition?
A. No. Anyone can enter the competition.
Q. Do I need to attend the Festival to enter the competition?
A. No. You may enter by post. Details are in the Competition Details page.

Camping

Q. Do children need to pay?
A. No. Children under 16 attend free when accompanied by a member.
Q. Can I camp anywhere on site?
A. No. You will be guided to the tent or caravan camping areas. No tent or caravan will be allowed to pitch on the playing fields.
Q. Is electricity available to use in the camping area?
A. No. No electric hook-up is available for tents or caravans.

General

Q. Do I need to bring beer or wine to share with the others?
A. No. The bar is free to enjoy by all attending, and all the beer or wine etc is there to share and consume with no charge. We do encourage sharing, but this is purely voluntary, and we would rather you attend than be put off by not being able to bring beer/wine/cider etc to share. You may also bring your own drinks and not share. This is entirely up to you.
Q. Can I bring home distilled spirits?
A. No. Home distilled alcohol is illegal in the UK. You may bring commercial distilled products.

Food

Q. Can I bring my own food?
A Yes. You may bring and cook your own food. Or you may go off site to eat or order a take away to be delivered to the site. The choice is yours.
Q. Can I use my own BBQ?
A. Yes. Please ensure you are able to lift it off the grass to avoid damage to the grass from the heat.
Q. Can I order special food to be cooked by Festival staff?
A. No. The food is being prepared and served by volunteers who are not trained chefs. If you have special dietary requirements, please contactadmin@thehomebrewfestival.co.uk to discuss if this is possible.

Pets

Q. Can I bring my dog.
A. Yes. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times on site.
